Sometimes it's interesting to know a little more about the club so every year* we compile statistics about the state of the club and the previous year's activities. Have a read and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Sessions

In the last year we had 71 sessions with an average attendance of 19.21 people at each. There were 3 gradings, 2 external courses and 5 specialist sessions.

The most popular was 1st Oct 07 (30 people) and Mondays are more popular (just) than Thursdays

Members

On the 22^nd July 2008 we had 34 active members (where active means we see them at least once a fortnight), of which 1 in 4 are female. The average age is 29.4 with the range from 17.8 to 38.5.

Gradings

The club managed to net itself 9 new yellows, 3 oranges, 6 greens, 7 purples, 1 blue and 2 brown belts. Go them!

Trivia

• The summer school last year was held in Kilmahog where 16 people came along. This year it's in Carmichael.
• Stuart has been to the most sessions this year (and indeed in the last 3 years with 136 sessions!)
• 241 people came to a beginners session this year
• There were over 12 official club socials, as well as many unofficial ones
• The club donated £276 to Maggie's Meals
