From July '08 session fees have been lowered to £3.00 a session and members can buy a multi-session saver card giving a 10% discount. Your first session is FREE!

Membership of the club costs £35 for 6 months (£60 a year) and covers insurance, special events and membership of the Ryu and Club. You should join before your third session.

The only other expense you are likely to incur in the first term is the cost of an outfit (judogi). These must be purchased through the club and you will get a badge, zoris (sandals) and your outfit. These come with a three year guarantee against tearing. The cost for these is £35. There is no need to buy one of these immediately, only when you are sure you wish to continue in the art. Typically students purchase a judogi around 2-3 months after beginning training.
